Since then, he founded PT. LAPI, stands for Laboratorium Alergen Pertama Indonesia (Indonesia First Allergen Laboratories), which produced allergenic extracts for diagnosis & treatment. PT. LAPI initiated a business in pharmaceuticals by successful marketing approach with its high commitment and affordable quality products. The name of PT. LAPI Laboratories is used then.

Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories was established in 1998 as a consequence of increasing globalisation and trend toward efficiency in the pharmaceutical industry. After a worldwide merger between pharmaceutical giant Glaxo International and Burroughs Wellcome in 1996, a group of foreign and local investors acquired ex-PT.Burroughs Wellcome manufacturing plant in Indonesia and established a new company, which is called Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories which has a status as a foreign investment company and registered with Indonesian Coordinating Investment Board (BKPM). The word Novell comes from an English word Novel that translates as something new, fresh and also brings the meaning of innovation. In June 2011, Novell obtained its approval from Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), in 2009 from GCC, in 2009 from South Africa MCC, in 2009 from UAE, in 2010 from Kenya and in 2011 from Turkey as a proof of its constant improvement in its quality process to ensure quality products for all its customers.

Established since May, 5th 1982, in the city of Surabaya, in the province of East Java, in Indonesia, PT. Surya Dermato Medica Laboratories (PT. SDM) aim to supply a good dermatologicals, non-prescriptions and aesthetic dermatology products. Cosmetics and skin care are growing ever closer. In 1986, PT. SDM experienced production expansion to non beta lactam antiobiotic production, then in 1992 underwent plant area expansion and renovation in compliance with cGMP regulation. In 1995, PT. SDM finally obtained cGMP certification with area consisted of three floors of office building and three floors of manufacturing facilities, with area of 84 x 36 m2. Plant renovation is continuously carried out in 2005 with the addition of one more building for office and manufacturing facility.
